Some have leaves that are variegated, meaning they have more than one color. While hostas are commonly known as shade plants, they can actually tolerate a range of light conditions. They're also relatively low maintenance, which makes them a great choice for gardeners of all levels of experience. Hosta plants are a type of perennial that is known for its beautiful, large leaves. These plants are perfect for adding texture and interest to your garden, and they come in a wide variety of colors and sizes. While hostas are typically grown for their foliage, many varieties also produce pretty flowers that add an extra pop of color to your garden. If you're looking for a plant that is easy to care for and will thrive in just about any type of soil, then hostas are a great option. They are also tolerant of shade, making them ideal for those areas of your yard that get less sunlight. Hostas are typically disease-resistant and pest-free, so you won't have to worry about them being ravaged by pests or diseases. Many do tend to fil out, so make sure to give them plenty of room to grow. They also like to be split every few years so they are a great bang for your buck garden variety.
