How do I know which one is right for me?

There isn't such a thing as perfect soil but even very poor soil can be dramatically improved, and your efforts will be well rewarded. Working in 3 to 4 inches of organic matter such as well-rotted manure or finished compost will make any average garden one to admire. There are many different types of fertilizers that can be used on plants, and the type that is best depends on the plant's needs. For example, organic fertilizers such as compost or manure can be beneficial for some plants, while others may require inorganic fertilizers. The soil type also plays a role in what kind of fertilizer to use. sandy soils need less fertilizer than clay soils because they drain quickly and don't hold nutrients as well. When it comes to applying fertilizer, generally it is best to do so in the early morning or evening hours to avoid burning the leaves of the plant. It is also important to water the plant after applying fertilizer so that it can start absorbing the nutrients. Organic matter is a key ingredient in healthy soil, providing essential nutrients and improving soil structure. Adding organic matter to your garden or lawn is one of the best things you can do to improve plant growth and health.
